When to skip it
If you have not lasted 14 days on a Nokia 3210 or a rugged handset, do not start here. Expensive objects do not fix a dopamine loop. They decorate it.
If WhatsApp is non-negotiable at 9pm, read WhatsApp without a smartphone and two-phone setup first. The Light Phone will not grow a chat bubble because you miss the group.
Punkt and Mudita, briefly
Punkt MP02 is the Swiss cousin: fewer tools, longer standby, still expensive. Mudita Pure is the wellness cousin: E Ink, meditation timer, higher price. Both belong in reviews. Neither is a better first phone than a sixty-pound Nokia.
